This piece explores patterns, their repetition and variations. The web of life is full of repeated patterns, but
none are exactly the same - always slight variations to them. But they are still close enough that we recognize
the pattern in them.
|The title is from the poem "Web" by Denise Levertov:
Intricate and untraceable weaving and interweaving,
dark strand with light:
designed, beyond all spiderly contrivance
to link, not to entrap:
elation, grief, joy, contrition, entwined;
shaking, changing, forever forming,
all praise, all praise to thegreat web.
